Marc Voyer: Developer...

After studying physics at the Bachelor's and Master's degree, Marc Voyer has completed a B.Sc. in Computer Science at Université de Sherbrooke in Québec in 1999. Marc has worked for many companies on many projects as a software developer. The first 5 years of his programming career were in C++, moslty in scientific applications (such as as ballisitc imagery and 3D digitizing).

Then, in 2006, Marc became a consultant in .NET, going back and forth between C# and VB.NET. The projects were mostly applied to data management, thus gaining experience with relational databases. The applications were mostly Winforms in the beginning, then they became almost exclusively on the web with ASP.NET.

Marc is passionate about software development, always up to date with the latest news, by reading blogs, and moslty by listening to various podcasts. He loves to learn about all sorts of langauges and likes to be aware of plateforms other than .NET.

devMomentum, since 2007...

devMomentum is the company Marc Voyer founded, originally for purely consulting services. Since this day, devMomentum has provided .NET consulting to many companies on many projects. Marc Voyer has been part of many .NET projects, in C# or VB.NET, SQL Server, LINQ, Winforms or ASP.NET, and is working on his own Silverlight Product (ObjectsLab). Having participated in diverse projects, in many diverse domains, and with many different teams, Marc Voyer has gained a valuable experience as a software developer.

In February 2010, devMomentum joined BizSpark program, a Microsoft program to give access to it's development software to qualified startups. Thanks to Bob Walsh at 47hats.com (Microsoft Partner) and Patrick Foley, the makers of Startup Success Podcast, for the help in getting in the program.
